“Harry Potter at the School of Wizards” returns to the cinema in 4K version

The most famous little wizard comes back on our screens, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of J.K. Rowling’s first novel.

Good news for the Potterheads! Warner Bros. France decided to bring out the first part of the adventures of Harry Potter and his merry band, in theaters. The occasion to celebrate with great pomp the 20 years of the release of the first volume of the saga, “Harry Potter at the School of Wizards”, published in 1998 in France. See you on September 12 to discover or rediscover the magical world of the most famous wizards. An unprecedented event that will please both adults and children! And to make us wait, Warner Bros. France has released a brand new trailer on the Youtube platform.

A saga that revealed many actors
Released in 2001, the first installment of the saga – directed by Chris Colombus – revealed the very young Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint in the respective roles of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. A true worldwide success, “Harry Potter at the Wizard School” has attracted more than 9.4 million viewers in French theaters and has earned more than $ 975 million in recipes worldwide! It was only the beginning of a legendary saga. Seven other feature films were followed, the last of which was “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, second part”, which marked the end of 2011. Since then, seven long years have passed and we have been able to count on the release of the film. “The Fantastic Animals”, a series derived from the world of Harry Potter, to entertain us but still, the adventures of Harry and his little trio we miss terribly … Highly the month of September!
