In other words, if he had been away, he could have found his vehicle on fire.
But how is this possible? Small scientific explanation: the light is reflected on the plastic of the bottle, which makes it heat. This heat is spread over the seat, and it eventually burn. This is the magnifying effect. Of course, this only happens if the bottle stays exposed for a long time under a lot of heat … But this is not the only danger that bottles left in a vehicle represent. They can also become unhealthy when they stay in the sun for too long, as it releases harmful chemicals into the water …
